Barbara Louise Mendes
Barbara Louise Mendes, 90 passed away on July 18, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Exeter and was a life long resident. She was an employee of Phillips Exeter Academy for many years. John, her husband of 66 years predeceased her in 2014.
Barbara will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son James of Exeter, daughter Barbara Hawes of Exeter and daughter Loretta Salazar and her partner David of Barrington, sister Virginia Gilmore of Exeter, also her grandson Michael Fish and his wife Amy of Exeter and granddaughter Melissa Salazar of Oakland, California.
She is also survived by her much loved great grand children Lucas and Sydney Fish of Exeter.
A graveside service will be held at Exeter Cemetery on Wednesday, July 26 at 1 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Arrangements are by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.
