Salisbury, MA - Jane G. Gouldthorpe, 90, of Salisbury died January 17, 2011 at her home.
She was born September 20, 1920 in Newburyport, MA the daughter of the late Richard and Jeanie (Brown) Greaton.
Mrs. Gouldthorpe Lived in Salisbury, MA for most of her life. She was a graduate of Amesbury High School. She worked as a clerk for Stride Rite Shoes.
She attended Salisbury East Methodist Church and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She really enjoyed living in the assisted living complex she recently moved to.
She was the widow of Milton F. Gouldthorpe.
Family members include her daughter, Linda Parker of Salisbury, MA, her grandsons, Donald Matheson of Brentwood and Scott Matheson of Tamworth, NH and grand daughter, Heidi Rothbard of PA, she is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Richard H. Gouldthorpe.
Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Sunday at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only. If desired donations may be made to the Pettinghill House, 13 Lafayette Road, Salisbury, MA 01952. Spring burial will be in the Long Hill Cemetery, Salisbury, MA.
