Catherine N. Field

Exeter – Catherine N. Field, 77, of Exeter died at her home, Sunday, June 12, 2011.

A lifelong resident of Exeter she was born here August 21, 1934 the daughter of the late Willard and Hazel (Rowell) Field.

Catherine was a graduate of the Robinson Female Seminary and was a Dress maker. She owned and operated her store, Catherine’s Fashions in downtown Exeter for several years, she then managed the farm with her late brother Willard.

She was very devoted to her family, the farm and especially for the care of her brother, Willard.

She was predeceased by her brother, Willard Field who died April 28th of this year.

Survivors include her many friends and good neighbors.

Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Thursday at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call at the funeral home, Wednesday from 5-7 PM. Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
