Judith Ann Goss Desotelle

Dover NH- Judith Ann Goss Desotelle, “Judy”, passed away with her family by her side, on July 8th, 2014, after a courageous fight against cancer, at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover. She was 71.

Judy was born in Exeter, NH on December 12, 1942, a daughter of Henry Goss and Pearl (Lancaster) Goss. She attended the Exeter schools throughout her education.

Judy spent many years working at Nike and Data General but what she truly enjoyed were her years as a visiting nurse enjoying helping and taking care of others. In the past few years she was a dedicated volunteer at Wentworth Douglass Hospital.

During the course of her life Judy enjoyed lake vacations with her husband Walter, traveling to various places, playing a little golf, and going out dancing. She could not resist a good beach day with book in hand or a chance to spend a day at the lake with her family.

Judy’s children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and she loved being around them all.

Judy was predeceased by her husband, Walter Desotelle and her brother Joseph Goss of Exeter, NH.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Terry Flood, of Lynnfield MA, and her husband, Chris Flood; her son Scott Cadieux, of Greenand, NH, and his girlfriend, Anne Loeffler; her daughter, Sheila Kageleiry, of Dover, and her husband, Chad Kageleiry; her grandchildren Christopher Flood, Sarah Flood, Allison Flood, Thea Kageleiry and James Kageleiry; her brothers Michael Goss and Robert Goss, and sister in law Mary Goss; cousins and nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A celebration of her life will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, July 13th at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Rd, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the The Hyder Family Hospice House, 285 County Farm Rd, Dover, NH 03820. Burial will be private.
