Jane G. Cooke
Nottingham – Jane G. Cooke, 77, of Nottingham died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Exeter Hospital.
She was born August 23, 1934 in Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late Frank M. and Muriel P. (Lake) Greenwood.
Jane was raised in Lawrence, MA and was a graduate of Edward F. Searles High School and Lawrence General Hospital, School of Nursing. She worked at Lawrence General Hospital as a LPN for 38 years.
Mrs. Cooke was very active in the Boy Scouts of America and served as the council Training Chairman and District Round Table Commissioner. She also served as the Institutional Representative for Christ Church, Exeter. She performed piano concerts over the years in Lawrence, Exeter, Dover and Nottingham.
She was the wife of the late Robert L. Cooke.
Family members include her children, Robert L. Cooke II, Ruth E. Roy, Myles A. Cooke all of Nottingham, Stephen M. Cooke and Chris K. Cooke both of Barrington, 9 grandchildren, her sister, Linda Dumont.
Services and burial will be private. If desired donations may be made to the Daniel Webster Council.
