Durham- Doris M. Auger, 92, of Durham, formerly of Exeter, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Brookdale Spruce Wood in Durham.

She was born in Newmarket, NH, May 1, 1924 the daughter of the late Nazaire and Lena (Felix) Dauteuil. She was married for 57 years to Maurice Auger who died in 2007.

Doris attended Hooksett, NH schools and lived most of her life in Exeter. She was a former member of St. Michael Church, Exeter. She enjoyed needlepoint, quilting and was a devoted and avid Red Sox Fan. She loved spending time with her family.

Family members include her son, Rodney Auger and his wife Yvette of Hampton, NH, her grandchildren: Paul Auger of Manchester, NH, Janine Wilks of Barrington, NH and Kathryn Taylor of Denton Texas. Doris’ newest and most precious family member was her first great-grandchild, Sylvia Wilks, of Barrington, NH.

A mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Michael Catholic Church in Exeter, NH on Monday, September 12 at 11:00 am.

Burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (new), River Road, Allenstown, NH at 2:30 pm.
