William N. Wojtkowski








Nottingham/Newmarket – William N. Wojtkowski, 77, died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover with his loving family by his side.

He was born on November 27th, 1937 in Peninsula, Ohio to Leila and Sigmund Wojtkowski, raised in Ohio and was a graduate of Boston High School in Peninsula and The Academy of Court Reporting in Washington, DC. He settled with his family to New England; moved to Newmarket, NH where he lived for many years. He was employed by the State of New Hampshire as a Court Stenographer for the Rockingham County Court. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2179 at St. Mary’s.

He fought valiantly with amazing courage and strength against Parkinson's Disease. He enjoyed gardening, listening to opera, the ocean, taking care of his beloved pets, baking his favorite recipes, reading and visiting the library.

He is survived by his loving family; Cheri Fenwick, daughters Amy (Denis), Wendy (Eugene), sons Nick (Julie) and Aaron (Tish); grandchildren Nick, Jacob, Leila, Noah, Ethan, Abby, Eugene Henry and Owen; great grandchildren Colby and Carly. He also leaves a sister Lee Ann Wojtkowski and brother Sigmund, as well as countless amazing friends and family.

A Mass celebrating his life will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 182 Main Street, Newmarket, NH on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private.  Memorial donations can be made in his name to the Newmarket Library, 1 Elm Street, Newmarket, NH 03857.
