Robert "Ozzie" Willett


Brentwood - Robert "Ozzie" Willett, 74, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the
Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.

Born in Exeter, October 1, 1938, he was a son of the late Cornelius and Margaret (McKone) Willett.  He was a 1956 graduate of Exeter High School where he was co-captain of the 1955 undefeated Blue Hawk Football Team.

He served from 1957 to 1959 with the US Army.

Mr. Willett was a stone mason by trade working 18 years for S.E. LaPerle & Sons and 28 years for Phillips Exeter Academy.

He loved his sports, playing softball and coaching the Exeter Red Sox Little League team during the 1970's.

Family members include his wife of 51 years, Marilyn (LaPerle) Willett of
Brentwood; four sons, Richard Willett of Denver, CO, Gary Willett of New Bedford, MA, Paul Willett of Brentwood, and Gregg Willett, and his wife, Vicki of Exeter; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Nicholas, Morgan, Thomas, and Evan; two brothers, Edward Willett of Cornish, ME and John
Willett, and his wife, Barbara of Norway, ME; a sister, Mary Goss and her husband, Joseph of Exeter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, December 6th at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. Friday in St. Michael Church, 91 Front Street, Exeter. Burial will follow in the Exeter
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Lung Association of NH, 1800 Elm Street,
Unit D, Manchester, NH  03104.
