Ronald C. Wessling


Epping - Ronald C. Wessling, 52, of Epping died unexpectedly, November 1, 2011 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born In Portsmouth, NH, April 13,1959, son of Loyal C. Wessling of Portsmouth and the late Lois C. (Sawyer) Wessling.

Ron spent the majority of his life In Portsmouth and was a graduate of Portsmouth High. Employed by Competition Motors LTD of Portsmouth, he shared his passion for vintage automobiles.  Previous to this the love of the open road as a long haul trucker took him to every area of the country.

A gifted mechanical craftsman, he applied his talents from vintage high end automobiles to antique farm tractors. He also served as the curator of the Wessling family tractor located on display in Shelbina, Missouri. Forever a compassionate man, he would always reach out a hand to a friend in need at anytime.

In addition to his father family members include his wife, Jessica R. (Browning) Wessling of Epping, his children, Ronald C. Wessling, II and his wife Karen of Lee, Michael Wessling and his wife Erin of Hudson, Andrea Wessling of Lewiston, ME, Ken Wessling of Newmarket, and Aaron Wessling of Epping, his step daughters, Megan Browning of Epping and Kaitlin Browning of Epping, his brother, Scott D. Wessling and his wife, Rebecca of Fremont, his sister, Lisa C. Jacobsen and her fiancé, Ken Dalton of Dover, his grandchildren, Taylor, Garrett and Aiden, his father’s companion Carol A. Pope of Portsmouth, and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 4-8 PM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal Street, Manchester, NH  03101. Private burial will be held at a later date.
