Phyllis M. Turner
Fremont – Phyllis M. Turner,90, of Fremont died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home.
She was born March 30, 1924 in Washington, ME the daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel (Hanson) Light.
She lived in Fremont for many years and worked at the Ellis School in the Food service Department as a cook. She was a member of the Good Sam’s Camping Club.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was the wife of the late Henry E. Turner.
Family members include her children, Dale Turner and his wife, Patty, Dean Turner and his wife, Emily, Sandra Evans and her husband, Wayne, Sharon Meaney and her husband, Bud, her 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Darrell Turner and her 7 siblings.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Village Cemetery, Fremont at 2 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Donations in her memory may be made to the Fremont Fire Department.
