Exeter – Jack E. Trefethen, Jr., 83, of Exeter died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his home.

He was born August 8, 1928 in Portsmouth, NH the son of the late Jack E. and Agnes (MacAlister) Trefethen, Sr.

Mr. Trefethen was a self employed car salesperson, he moved to Exeter from Hanover, NH ten years ago.

Family members include his wife, Pokson (Kim) Trefethen of Exeter, daughters, Patricia Davenport-Arruda, Nancy Lee and Stacey Allen, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Mr. Trefethen was predeceased by a son Steven Trefethen and a daughter, Melodie Trefethen.

Services will be held at the Greenland United Methodist Church, 87 Great Bay Road, Greenland, Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will follow in the Exeter Cemetery, Exeter.
