Betty Ann Towle


Exeter – Betty Ann Towle, 83, a longtime resident of Exeter died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth surrounded by her family.

She was born August 18, 1928 in Concord, NH the daughter of the late Clinton G. and Thelma (Dutton) Daniels.

An educator she taught in several area schools including Berwick Academy.  She was a Signature Walker and a conversationalist.

Family members include her children, Peter A. Towle, Geoffrey D. Towle, Deborah J. Towle, Amy B. Swiezynski and Sarah R. Spoerl, her grandchildren, Jessica B. Towle, Clinton D. Towle,  Alexis, Amanda and Racheal Swiezynski, and Delany R. Spoerl.

Services for Betty A. Towle, 83, who died January 14, 2012 will be held at the Dover Friends Quaker Meeting House, 141 Central Avenue, Dover, NH on December 1, 2012 at 1:00 PM.  The meeting house is located across from St. Joseph Church, next to Pine Hill Cemetery.  Parking is along both sides of Central Avenue and adjourning side streets.  If you are handicapped, you can be dropped off at the meeting house parking lot, but your car must be moved to the other parking areas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Exeter Public Library, 4 Chestnut Street, Exeter, NH 03833 or to the charity of one's choice.
