Boston, MA and Brentwood, NH - Beverly A. Stevenson, 75, died peacefully on July 23, 2012.

She was born in Melrose, MA, and was the daughter of John B. and Barbara Gerrish Stevenson.

She was the widow of George L. Seldon of Boston.

A 1959 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, her creative talents found her working at two advertising agencies in Boston: Maslow, Gold & Rothschild and Dickie-Raymond, and later at the headquarters of Zayre’s department stores in Framingham, MA.

An elegant lady, she will be remembered for her love of poetry and writing, as well as being a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox.

For 50 years she resided in Beacon Hill, Boston before moving to New Hampshire in 2010.

She leaves a sister, Amy Stevenson Ross of Stratham, NH; a niece, Celia Ross Simpson of Ann Arbor, MI; a nephew, US Air Force Lt. Col. Robert J. Ross of Okinawa, Japan; a stepson, Michael F. Seldon of Bedford, MA, and five grand nieces and two granddaughters.

A private interment in Randolph Center, VT will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ernest P. Barka Activities Fund, 117 North Road, Brentwood, NH 03833.
