Paul S. Shuffleton



Brentwood – Paul S. Shuffleton, 83, of Brentwood died August 25, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born February 17, 1923 in Gardner, MA a son of the late Paul S. and Marjorie (Sawin) Shuffleton, Sr.

Mr. Shuffleton was raised in Gardner and was a graduate of Gardner High School.  He resided in Brentwood since 1959.  He was a pilot for Eastern Airlines for 30 years retiring in 1983.

He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War serving as a US Marine Pilot.  He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and kind sense of humor.

Family members include his wife of 59 years, Mary (Stokes) Shuffleton of Brentwood, his children, Paul II, Donald, Timothy, Thomas, Debra, Bonnie, his grandchildren, Kelley, Dan, Korbin, Megan, Tyler, Brittany, Stephen, his great grandson, William.

Mr. Shuffleton was predeceased by his daughter, Susan and his two brothers and two sisters.

A private memorial service will be held.  The family respectfully requests no visting hours and no flowers.  If desired, donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements were by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.
