Exeter - Paula C. (McClain) Scotti, 56, of Exeter, died suddenly Friday, May 21, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Route 101.

Paula was raised in Easthampton, MA and was a graduate of Easthampton High School, and a graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing in Worcester, MA.
Paula moved to Exeter in 1983, where she worked for the Seacoast Hospice for many years. While her children were little, she worked as the school nurse for the Kensington, East Kingston, and Newfields schools. She most recently worked for Amedysis Hospice of Dover.
A kind and gentle spirit, Paula would light up the room when she entered. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend and nurse, always there to lend a helping hand and a sincere ear. Those who were associated with her work always encountered a full, giving heart and peaceful warmth. She enjoyed her children, taking walks, hearts, yoga, the beach, her koi pond, and gardening. She was a member of Gourmet Group, and was an active participant and supporter of the North Hampton United Church of Christ. Her positivity and strength will be shared amongst all who had the great fortune of meeting her, and will never be forgotten.
In addition to her mother, family members include her husband, William G. Scotti Jr., of Exeter, her children, Michael P. Murphy and his wife, Dominique of Portsmouth, Mary Kate Murphy of Somerville, MA, two step children; William G.
