Margaret (Bean) Sawyer
Stratham - Margaret B. Sawyer, of Stratham died August 23rd at the Exeter healthcare after a brief illness.
She was born July 7, 1926 in St. Johnsbury, VT the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Roberts) Bean.
She was raised in St. Johnsbury, VT and was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 1944. She had resided in Stratham since 1959.
Her greatest joy in life was giving to others.
Family members include her husband of 63 years, Paul A. Sawyer of Stratham, her sons, Harry J. Sawyer and his wife Iris of Fairfax Station, VA, Peter J. Sawyer of Kensington, and William T. Sawyer and his wife Susan of Kingston, five grandchildren Lisa, Emily, Kimberly, Kyle, and Hannah, and three great- grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Saturday August 28, from 11:00AM to 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Private burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Woodsville, NH. If desired, donations may be made to the Rockingham VNA/Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
