She is also survived by her sister, Sandra,  her sister’s husband, John Loftus of Portsmouth, Sandra's children Scott and Robyn Haynes, and Peter Hamelin, also of Portsmouth NH.

Her “little Black Dog” BD was her constant companion throughout this past year of failing health. Fresh from the “shelter” he adopted her and stood by her and gave her comfort that was so needed at times.

“Never underestimate the power of a Shelter dog..”

Pat's life was full of colorful, musical endeavours, that most people could only hope to embrace.

Having lived on lake Lashaway in E/N Brookfield Mass, she loved to canoe, row, waterski, and when not on the water, she would be scouring the woods for the hidden lady slippers.

In the winters, she took the challenge of skiing, and with her husband on ski patrol, she earned the name of Sunday River Sunshine. When not on the slopes, she would be on the deck, ski boots on the railings and her face to the sun, soaking in that vitamin D.

In the late 60s, she took NYC by storm. Taking in all it had to offer, falling in love with Broadway, doing Yoga in the “Village” as well as taking in the flavors of Central Park and all the surprises it had to offer.

Early 70s coming back to the east coast, the love of wooden antique boats became a part of family tradition.  You could find her entertaining family on the “FAGOWEE”, a 35 foot 1935 Elco antique cabin cruiser that only Pat and Don could see the potential in.

In later years, she and her husband purchased a “cottage” on Cow Island, (Winnipesaukee) and with yet another wooden craft, fell in love with being back on a lake with all its calmness, coves and tranquility.

Travelling in later years, she and Don made their home in Aguadilla PR, the Dominican Republic, Tennessee, and finally semi settling down in Sebring Fl, then to Cocoa. Salt air and warm summers always brought them back to a flat in Portsmouth, NH.

Throughout the years, she was very active in the family business, DORYCO, keeping the books for 20 years, becoming quite the financial wizard, and taking on the arduous tasks of managing all the challenges that small businesses face.
