Peter Reed III
Brentwood – Peter Reed, III, 48, of Brentwood died suddenly Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
He was born August 13, 1963 in Burlington, VT the son of Peter and Phyllis (Koch) Reed, Jr.
Peter was raised in New York and was a graduate Desisto School, he received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Keene State College. He worked for Agency Software Company of Portsmouth as a software engineer, prior to this he worked for Liberty Mutual.
A devoted husband, father and friend he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Swasey School Board in Brentwood, enjoyed golf, skiing and loved fast cars and drag racing.
In addition to his parents family members include his wife, Nicole Reed, his children, Dillon Reed and Megan Reed , his brother, William Reed and sisters, Susan Blanchard and Karen Lane, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Thursday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully and may visit with the family Wednesday from 6-8 PM. Family flowers only. If desired donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. Burial will be private.
