Walter A. Randlett
Stratham - Walter A. Randlett, 95, of Stratham died, peacefully Sunday, October 24, 2010 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born September 28, 1915 in Concord, NH the son of the late Sherburne and Mae (Burden) Randlett.
He lived most of his life in Concord and was a 1934 graduate of Concord High School. He moved to Stratham in 1988 from Deering Lake.
He worked as a foreman for the Page Belting Company for 45 years. He was a proud veteran of the US Army Serving during WWII. He was a life member of the American Legion Post# 59 of Hillsboro. A gifted craftsman, woodworking was his passion.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Family members include his wife of 66 years, F. Charlene (Booker) Randlett of Stratham, his children, Mark A. Randlett and his wife, Deborah of Turner, ME, Arthur Randlett of Exeter, Karen Logsdon of Stratham, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, also survived by a niece and nephews.
He was predeceased by his five siblings.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Thursday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited and may visit with the family at the Funeral Home Wednesday from 6-8 PM. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to the Rockingham VNA/Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833. Burial will be in Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord.
