Anita W. Ramsdell

Stratham – Anita W. Ramsdell, 84 of Stratham passed away peacefully Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home.

She was born July 10, 1932 in Hampton, NH to the late Forest P. (Happy) Wentworth and Bernice L. Wentworth (Barnaby).

Anita was a graduate of Robinson Female Seminary and worked for many years at the former Exeter Banking Company in several different roles and ended her career as Branch Manager in Stratham. She was very active in the Stratham Community Church, was the treasure of the Clothes Attic for several years and started Girl Scout Troop 238 in Stratham.

Family members include her husband of 63 years Richard R. Ramsdell, her daughter Debra R. McLaughlin and her husband Robert, of New Durham, daughter-in-law Susan Ramsdell of Nottingham, her grandchildren Laura and Kyle McLaughlin, Chelsea Ramsdell and Shaylyn Dean and great grandchildren Jordan Dean and Cameron McLaughlin.

Mrs. Ramsdell was predeceased by her son Lee A. Ramsdell, September 7, 2016.

Services will be held at the Stratham Community Church, Friday September 30th at 2:00 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be in the Maple Lane Cemetery, Stratham.
