Christine Plumer
Dover, NH - Christine Plumer, 83, of Dover, formerly of Exeter and Portsmouth died peacefully Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Riverside Rest Home.
She was born May 13, 1928 in North Conway, NH the daughter of the late Peter P. and Grace (Tufts) Schanschieff.
Mrs. Plumer was raised in Ossipee and had resided in Exeter for many years. She worked at the former Alrose Shoe Company and was a Crossing Guard for the Exeter School System.
She was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center, enjoyed crafts and walking.
Family members include her sons, Gregg Plumer of Newmarket, Paul Schanschieff of Dover, Michael Quinn of ME; three daughters, Carla Pvirre of Seabrook, Jessy Plumer of Portsmouth , Deidra Stilson of Exeter; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; cousin Hazel Standeven of Scio, OR; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 3 to 5 P.M. on Thursday, April 26th in the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, NH. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 27th in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Riverside Rest Home Unit 2B, 276 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820.
