Edmund Lawyer Piper, MD

Exeter – Dr. Edmund Lawyer Piper, 87, a longtime resident of Exeter died Tuesday, October 30th, 2012 at Riverwoods in Exeter.

He was born July 3, 1925. He was a graduate of Yale Medical School and practiced dermatology in the Portsmouth area for most of his career.

Family members include his children from his first marriage to Marjorie Page Piper/Bancroft (deceased), Kathleen Piper, Edmund Piper, Karen Piper, Robin Downs and Timothy Piper and his wife, Frances Piper, her children, Amy Newmark, Arinna Moon, and Johnathan Newmark, his former wife Enid G. Piper (deceased) and her children, Paul O’Leary, Maureen O’Leary, and Eileen Ingraham. He was predeceased by his brother George Piper, and survived by his sister Alice Cestari.

A private celebration of his life will be held at later date.
