Robert P. Peterson
Robert P. Peterson of Nottingham NH passed away on Novenber 24th 2015 after a 4 year battle with Lung Cancer and COPD.
He was born Feburary 14th 1954 to the late Joan (Hamel) Peterson and the late Robert G.Peterson of N. Chelmsford MA.
On April 19th 1975 he married Linda McMahon celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this year.
Bob was a Mechanical Designer in the Aero Space Industry. He started with Adams Russell in June of 1977 and followed the company thru many changes including Amp, Tyco and Cobham retiring after 37 years. He was most proud of his help designing parts for the B-1 Bomber and other similar projects.
He leaves his wife Linda Peterson of Nottingham. He was the proud father of daughter Jennifer Braley of Nottingham, a daughter Heather and her husband Frank Payson of Pembroke NH and a son Joshua Peterson of Nottingham.
He also leaves his 3 cherished grandchildren Alianna Braley, Brycen Braley and Chiara Payson.
He leaves his sister Linda and her husband Larry Kelly of Liberty Hill TX, his sister Robin Saunders of Leander TX, a brother C. Douglas Peterson and his wife Joan of Shirley MA, and a brother Brian Peterson of Deer Lodge TN. He had many nieces and nephews who all loved Uncle Bob, one being his God Child Shannon Saunders of Leander TX.
He was the proud father to his dog Bones, his friend and buddy for life.
Bob loved his summers as a kid in York ME, camping, family reunions, and his paradise Patuckaway Lake. He would be on his boat fishing and enjoying the lake, alone, with family and friends and his Bones. He loved the Patriots, Nascar and the Boston Bruins. He spent his last night watching the Patriots clinch their 10th win of the season.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 5th 2015 at 11:00 AM at Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, NH.
