Michael W. Perry

Stratham - Michael W. Perry, 69, of Stratham, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 12, 2014.

Born November 10, 1945, in Exeter, the son of the late Reginald & Barbara Perry, Mike was a 1963 graduate of Exeter High School and attended Northeastern and New Hampshire College.

Early in his professional life, Mike worked for a small number of New Hampshire businesses including Sanders Associates in Nashua and WHEB in Portsmouth. It was in Portsmouth that he began his long career in the automobile industry. His knowledge and passion in sales led to positions in nationally recognized sales training firms in Dallas, Tex., Chattanooga, Tenn., and New Orleans, La., befriending many in his travels.

With his father, and throughout his life, Mike was a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, being actively involved over the years with Exeter Troop 323 and Stratham Troop 185. Mike was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, and all things Notre Dame.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Natalie, sons Michael and Bill, daughters Kitty, Amy and Elizabeth, brothers Budd and Steve, and sister Pamm.

Mike was a dedicated grandfather and cherished time spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his grandchildren Joe & Chelsea, Andrew & Julia, Matthew & Hannah, Sammantha, Chris (US Army) & Abigayle, and Lucas.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Eppng Road, Exeter, Monday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Sunday from 3-5 PM. Burial will be private. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, we hope Mike has inspired you to share random acts of kindness this week and always.
