David P. Palen


Brentwood – David P. Palen, 59, of Brentwood died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Exeter Hospital after a sudden illness.

He was born June 9, 1954 in Haverhill, MA the son of the late Stanley and Katherine (Zelisko) Palen.

Mr. Palen Was raised in Haverhill, MA and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, he lived in Haverhill for 20 years before moving to New Hampshire where he lived for over 27 years.

He worked for the Swasey School in Brentwood as a plant manager, prior to this he worked for Foss Manufacturing in Hampton.

His passion was classic cars, racing, hockey, and camping.

He was a devoted husband, father and friend.

He was the husband of the late Pauly Palen who died May 21, 2013.

Family member include his son, James Palen of Brentwood, his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Townsend of Brentwood, his siblings, Daniel Palen of Fremont, Richard Palen of Freedom, Barbara Bailey and Linda Fyfe both of Haverhill, MA, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his two brothers, Paul Palen and Leonard Palen.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Saturday July 6, 2013 at 11 AM.  Family and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family from 10 AM until the hour of the service.  Burial will be private.  Family flowers only.
