Ronald W. Morrisette
Exeter- Ronald W. Morrisette, 70 of Exeter died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born April 21, 1941 in Exeter, NH the son of Clara (Jean) Morrisette of Exeter and the late Edward R Morrisette.
Ron was a graduate of Exeter High School 1958, attended Holy Apostle Seminary, he received his Bachelor’s degree and his Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Ct.
He taught for 18 years at the University of Berkley in CA and many years in special education and most recently at the Cooperative Middle School in Stratham as a Reading Specialists. He was involved in Foster Care Programs, Juvenile Justice System, and Exceptional Children’s Organization while in CA.
A very devoted son, brother, friend and teacher. His passion was education where he strived to make life better for his students by making learning fun and interesting.
He was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church where he served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister.
In addition to his mother, family members include his brothers Roy and Rudy, his sisters Renee, Renda and Robin, his nieces Colleen and Kaya; nephew Parker and many Aunts and Uncles.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter at 10 AM on Saturday March 17th. Family flowers only, if desired, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society Lincoln Street Exeter NH 03833. Burial will be private in the Exeter Cemetery at a later date.
