Exeter – Janet F. Morin, 80, of Exeter died peacefully, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, with her loving daughters by her side.

She was born on June 21, 1936, in Epping, NH, the daughter of the late G. William "Bill" and Marion (Marcotte) Gage.

Janet was raised in Epping, where she was a 1954 graduate of Watson Academy. She lived in Exeter most of her life and was a communicant of St. Michael's Church. She worked for many years at the Sears and Roebuck catalog store in downtown Exeter, where she made many lifelong friends.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Janet was strong, full of spunk and had a laugh like no other. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Janet is lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Raymond A. Morin, two daughters, Julianne French and her husband Kenneth of Exeter, and Jennifer Rumph and her husband Gary of New Castle, her grandchildren, Nicklaus Chantre, Corey Rumph, Meredith Rumph and Meghan Rumph, and a brother, Gardner Gage. Janet will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Travis Chantre, and her sister, Gwendolyn Goodrich.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Michael’s Chruch, Corner of Lincoln and Front Streets, Exeter, NH on Saturday, June 10th at 11 AM, visitation will be at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, NH the same day from 9 am until 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

If desired, donations may be made in Janet Morin's name, to the American Cancer Society, Northern New England Region, 2 Commerce Dr., Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110. Burial will be at the Exeter Cemetery.
