Fremont - Manuel S. Moitoso, 87 of Fremont died February 15, 2016 in Fremont after a brief illness.

Many was born in Fail Azores, June 30, 1928. He moved to the United States and settled in Somerville, MA in 1959. He worked as a machinist at the Sexton Can Company in Everett, MA, after retiring he and his wife settled in Fremont.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maria H. Moitoso, his children, Herbert Moitoso and his wife, Paula of Billerica, MA and Clara Wiley and her husband, Frank of Fremont, Elizabeth Ray and her husband, Edward of Reading, MA, his grandchildren, Paul Moitoso, Eric Moitoso, Jennifer Moitoso-Rodrigues, Colene Wiley, Christopher Ray and his great grandchild, Joseph Moitoso.

Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Thursday at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family, Thursday at the funeral home from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Compassus Hospice, 65 Lafayette Road, Ste. 302, North Hampton, NH 03862. Spring burial will be in the Leavitt Cemetery, Fremont.
