Hampton – Bernie D. McAulay, 57,of Hampton formerly of Exeter died February 3, 2014 at his home.

He was born in Boston, MA, January 14, 1957 the son of the late Robert and Norma (Watson) McAulay.

Bernie lived in Exeter for most of his life, moving here from Mansfield, MA and was a graduate of the Exeter High School class of 1976. He worked for many years as a Property Manager for his longtime friend, Kurt Legner.

While in High School he played football, he enjoyed fishing, bicycling and animals.

Family members include his brother, Robert A. McAulay and his sister, Kristin McAulay and several nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Larry McAulay.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter Friday at 12:30. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only. Spring burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery.
