Stephen Harvey Mazurka
December 12, 1941- November 30, 2016
Stephen Harvey Mazurka of Exeter died Wednesday, November 30th, after a brief illness. Stephen was the son of Francis and Bernice Mazurka of Exeter.
Mr. Mazurka was a journalist who worked as an Editor for Rockingham County Newspapers, and a free-lance writer and novelist. He was veteran of the US Navy and served during the Cuban missile crisis. He was an avid golfer.
Mr. Mazurka is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lois Sandburg Mazurka and two sisters, Joanne McFee and Judith Chester, two children Stephen linden mazurka, Lauren Barrett and her husband James, and four grandchildren Liliana, Joseph, Eve and Faith Barrett.
Calling hours will be Sunday, December 4th from 3 to 5 at the Stockbridge Funeral Home 141 Epping Road, Exeter. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, Corner of Front and Lincoln streets, Exeter Monday, December 5th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be at the Exeter cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.thefirsttee.com.
