Marion M. Mantegani-Lussier
Brentwood – Marion M. Mantegani-Lussier, 91, formerly of Exeter died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home.
She was born October 14, 1920 in St. Armand, Canada the daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Jutras) Menard.
Mrs. Lussier lived in Exeter for many years and was a Registered Nurse working at the Exeter Hospital for 45 years. She was a graduate of St. Alban’s Nursing School in Vermont.
She was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church.
Mrs. Lussier was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Mantegani and her second husband, Come Lussier.
Family members include her children, Peter Mantegani and his wife, Rosemary of Hampton, Paul Mantegani and his wife, Deneen of CT, Jo Anne Murphy and her husband, Brian of Exeter, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her siblings, Hortence Vanslette of VT, Ruth Brossseau of CA, Lucille Kinerson of VT, Daniel Menard of VT, Anita Paradee of VT, Gerald Menard of CA, her step children, Rachel Lussier of MI, Mark Lussier of VT, Muriel McCuin of VT, Guy Lussier of VT, Annette Gauthier of Amherst, NH, Daniel Lussier of VT also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her brothers, Furman Menard and Peter Menard, and her sister, Hilda Demar.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter Saturday at 1:30 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Friday from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul, c/o St. Michael’s Church, 9 Lincoln Street, Exeter, NH 03833 or Rockingham County Nursing Home Residents Fund, 117 North Road, Brentwood, NH 03833.
