Rosena M. Lupoli

Rosena M. Lupoli passed quietly at the Edgewood Center in Portsmouth on Sunday, September 27 at age 89. Born January 4, 1926, Rosena succumbed to the ravages of age. She is survived by her sons Nick and Chris, daughter Donna, daughter in-laws Sandy and Melinda and 32 grand and great grand children. She is predeceased by her husband Ralph and daughter Josephine.

Born in Houston Texas, she attended San Jacinto High School and was taught civics by President Lyndon Johnson, who she never really liked. She relocated to New England in 1964. A long time Stratford resident, she spent her latter days in Newmarket and Durham.

Rosena possessed an uncanny aptitude for organization and attention to detail, something that served her well as a bookkeeper in her younger day. Everything was labeled, categorized and stored neatly in its place. She enjoyed reading and sewing and was a talented seamstress, making several stylish articles of personal attire.

Rosena loved Jesus as a member of her family and spoke at length to and of him. She looked forward to a reunion of the family in the after life but feared we would not all end up in the same place.

Those that knew and loved Rosena will have many a story or anecdote to share for a long time to come. Bye Momma.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10 AM at the Exeter Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home at 9 AM Saturday.

Visiting Hours will be Friday at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter from 5-7 PM.
