Mary G. Lord
Exeter – Mary G. Lord, 79, of Exeter died suddenly Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at her home.
A lifelong resident she was born here July 24, 1932 the daughter of the late Joseph and Eda (McInnis) St. Amour.
Mary was a graduate of Robinson Female Seminary. She worked for the Exeter School System in Food Service for many years. She was very active with the Exeter Senior’s Center one of her daily stops.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother devoting most of her time with them after her retirement. She loved spending time at her camp in Pittsburgh, NH, loved feeding the birds and working around the yard.
She was the wife of the late Donald “Ducky” Lord.
Family members include her children, Gary Lord and his wife, Marian, Mark Lord and his companion, Kari Hanley, Robin Fairfield and her husband, David Lisa Machaud and her husband, David, her 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her siblings, George St. Amour, Curtis Allen, Helen Harden and
Jeannette Allen.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Mark D. Lord.
A Celebration of her life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Monday at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family on Monday from 2 PM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rockingham Nutrition Meals on Wheels Program, 30 Court Street, Exeter, NH 03833. Spring burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery.
