Paul F. Lennon


Stratham – Paul F. Lennon, 81, of Stratham died July 4, 2011 at Exeter on Hampton.

He was born in Malden, MA September 2, 1929 the son of the late Francis J. and Beatrice (Sweeney) Lennon.

Mr. Lennon was raised in Lynnfield, MA and currently resides in Stratham, NH. In his early years, he was a route foreman for H.P. Hood and Sons, later he  was an agent for many years for the New York Life Insurance Company. 

He was an avid short track racing fan and especially enjoyed the midget race cars, he also was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He and his wife traveled the country in their motorhome.  He enjoyed boating on great bay and playing ice hockey.

Family members include his wife of 62 years, Shirley J. (Vandewalle) Lennon, two sons, Paul F. Lennon, Jr. of Northwood, David K. Lennon of Auburn, NH, two daughters, Cynthia Passero of Belmont, MA and Lynne Letendre of North Andover, MA, one brother, Francis Lennon Jr, Wakefield, MA, two sisters, Rosemary Bronstien of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Jeanne LaFrance of Pelham, NH, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11 AM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call at the funeral home, Thursday from 5-7 PM.  Burial will be in the Center Cemetery, North Hampton.
