Brentwood – Gwendolyn A. LaRochelle, 85, of Brentwood died July 3, 2013 at Barker Assisted Living in Brentwood.

She was born February 10, 1928 in SDtratham, NH the daughter of the late William T. and Anna M. (Jackson) McLane.

A Homemaker, she was raised in Stratham where she lived for many years. She was a graduate of Robinson Female Seminary Class of 1946.

Gwen was predeceased by her devoted husband, Warren and her son, James.

She is survived by her daughters, May Emerson Youngclaus and her husband William, Exeter and Sharon LaRochelle, Dover. Her grandchildren: Dawna Harding, her husband, Steve and children Emma & Evan; Deirdre Foye and her children Sophia & Elena; Erik LaRochelle and his wife Hana, and Trevor LaRochelle, her sister, Margaret Caverno.

She is also survived by her extended grandchildren: Stephanie Bartlett and her children Colin & Alison; Geoff Youngclaus, his wife Judi and children Keegan and Kylie; Jennifer O’Doherty, her husband Ronan and children Cameron, Sean & Meaghan, and Sarah Smith, her husband Jeff and children Lexington & Carolina.

The family would like to thank RVNA/Hospice and the staff of the Ernest P. Barka Assisted Living Facility for their loving care.

Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Monday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Sunday from 3-5 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society, Dover, NH 03820.
