Barbara A. Kidd
Fremont – Barbara A. Kidd, 55, of Fremont died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Exeter Healthcare after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born October 17, 1956 in Medford, MA the daughter of the late John E. and Maude (Harvey) DiCristoforo.
She was a graduate of Medford High School and Boston College. She worked in sales for the PD Circuit Company in Hampstead, where she enjoyed her career and excelled in her chosen profession of sales. Barb took each sale as a challenge and a fresh opportunity to develop a new relationship.
Barb has resided in Fremont for the past 12 years, moving there from Haverhill, MA.
She was an adoring and proud mother of two sons, Zach (15) and Josh (11). She was very active in their lives and she always wanted the best for them. She was a room mother for years at their school and loved to make them costumes for events. She consistently encouraged them to follow their dreams. They were the joy of her life, and the love they shared gave her the strength to persevere beyond expectation.
Surviving family members include her husband, Guy Kidd, her two sons, Zachary Kidd and Joshua Kidd, her sisters Gertrude Keough, Janice Costello and Dorothy MacDonald, and a special niece, Leslie Dow.
A Celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Bethany Church (Raymond Campus), 90 Chester Road, Raymond, NH on Thursday, January 12 at 6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. The family has requested that there be no visiting hours. If desired, donations may be made to Portsmouth Christian Academy at Dover for the Kidd Family Tuition Fund. The burial will be private.
