Dr. John F. Kennedy

Dr. John F. Kennedy, 87 of Kingston, NH passed peacefully on December 24, 2016 in Exeter, NH after a brief illness.

John was born in Lawrence, MA on August 31, 1929. He was the son of the late John J. Kennedy and Anne Neagle Kennedy of Methuen, MA and the brother of the late Robert H. Kennedy of Peabody, MA.

He graduated from St. John's Preparatory School in 1947, Boston College in 1951 and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1956. Following his graduation from dental school, John served in the U.S. Air Force until 1961. He practiced general dentistry in Plaistow, NH until his retirement in 1985.

John was the beloved husband of 44 years to the late Marianne R. Kennedy. The inseparable couple made their home in Kingston and loved to ski, golf and play tennis well into their 80's. John and Marianne also enjoyed working together at a local ski shop for many years. John was a 40-year parishoner of St. Michael Parish in Exeter, NH where he maintained many close friendships.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Margaret A. Kennedy of Peabody, MA, nephew, John J. Kennedy of Peabody, MA nephew, Robert M. and his wife Lisa Kennedy of Billerica, MA, niece Barbara A and her husband Dennis Freeman of Billerica, MA, an nephew, David P. and his wife Lauren Kennedy of Marblehead, MA and many grand-nieces and nephews.
