Alexander D. Karavas
Hampton – Alexander D. Karavas, 67, of Hampton, is resting with Jesus as of Monday, August 8, 2011 at his home in Hampton.
He was born in Manchester, NH, December 16, 1944 a son of the late Peter and Eleftheria (Diamond) Karavas.
Alex was a graduate of Dover High School Class of 1963. Following graduation he attended Macintosh College.
He worked as a clothes buyer for Mcquades in Manchester for a number of years before moving to Hampton in 1970. In his spare time Alex enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Mr. Karavas enjoyed cooking.
Family members include two brothers, John Karavas and his wife Anna of Temecula, CA, Paul Karavas and wife Jane of Milford, NH, two sisters, Esther Dobbins of Hampton, Dottie Pickering of Nottingham, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Timothy Karavas.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2 PM in the Christian Believers Fellowship Church, 32 Chapel Lane, Somersworth. Family and friends are respectfully invited. Arrangements are by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.
