Mary Catherine Jehly
Mary Catherine (Beacom) Jehly, aged 89, died peacefully on March 25, 2015 at Langdon Place in Exeter, NH. She was born Nov. 9, 1925 in Sioux City, Iowa and was the daughter of Catherine and John Patrick Beacom. She was also predeceased by two brothers, John and George Beacom.
In 2013 she lost her loving husband of 40 years, Eugene Jehly.
Mary was a devoted mother of three children, Connie Malsi Brown of Northwood NH, Cliff Malsi of Torrance, Ca and Larry Malsi of Kittery, Me. Although a working mother she always was there for her children and they have fond memories that she provided.
She spent the majority of her working years working at General Electric and retired in 1980.
In 1987 she and Gene moved to New Hampshire as she wanted to be close to her grandchildren (Jennifer Brown of Rochester NH, Ryan Brown of Northwood NH and Kelly Brown of Brattleboro Vt). She was a “proud grandma” and thoroughly enjoyed every moment with them.
A memorial service will be held at Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Rd, Exeter, NH on Friday, March 27th at 4:00. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Spring Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rochester.
