Linda Herman
Exeter – Linda Herman, 59, of Exeter passed away in her home January 12, 2014 with loved ones by her side.
She was born in Amesbury, MA September 9, 1954 the daughter Theresa (Charest) Herman of Amesbury, MA and the late William Herman.
Linda was a graduate of Amesbury High School and went on to get her Cosmetologist License from the State of New Hampshire. She worked for Phillips Exeter Academy in the Music Building, she loved her job and the people she worked with and will be remembered for her warmth, humor and love of animals.
Family members include her longtime partner and caregiver, Kevin Gilmore of Exeter, her sons, Travis Bastien and fiancée Kelly Stoker of Kansas and Kerry Bastien of Greenland, her brother, Bill Herman, Jr. and his partner, Heidi Merrill of Amesbury, MA, her sister, Robin LeBlanc and her partner, Joseph Dolfe of Kensington, also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She would like to remember lifelong friends, Destiny (Porkorny) Brighman, David Pokorny, Doreen Pokorny and the Barnett Family, Pam Genna and Marleen Porter. She would like to thank Kevin’s family for all their love and support.
A Celebration of her life will be held in the spring. In her memory donations may be made to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society, 262 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 003820. Burial will be private.
