Portsmouth – Michael R. Hamby, 60, of Portsmouth died Monday, November 24, 2014 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston after a short illness.
Family members include his sisters, Marlene J. Fowler and Linda Gentles and her husband, David, three nephews, Chad Gordon, Chris Fowler and Ben Gentles. He was predeceased by his niece, Gwen Gentles Peels.
A Memorial gathering will be held Wednesday from 4-6 PM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The New Hampshire SPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
