Alfred “Raz” Hallinan
Milton – Alfred “Raz” Hallinan, 63, of Milton formerly of Epping died suddenly April 6, 2014 in Laconia, NH.
He was born March 19, 1951 in Exeter, NH the son of the late William and Barbara (McFarland) Hallinan.
Alfred was raised in Brentwood and had lived in the Epping area for many years before moving to Milton in 2006. He worked for the Flo-Pro Company in Bedford, NH for many years. He was a hard worker who began his career in manufacturing at an early age and spent the last two years in retirement enjoying a well deserved break.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a backyard mechanic who could fix any problem. Most weekends he could be found under the hood of a vehicle, either his own or someone in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and would never pass up the opportunity to play a good card game or to sit and have coffee enjoying good conversation and many laughs. He also enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle, especially with family and friends.
Family members include his daughter, Mary M. Davis, his grandchildren Zachery Davis and Joseph Davis, his brothers, William Hallinan Jr, Fred Hallinan and Richard Hallinan, his sisters, Mary Johnson, Sandra Hallinan, Phyllis Methot, Brenda Rowell and Barbara Murray, also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his nephew, Ralph Johnson and his niece, Kristina Powers.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Saturday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Friday at the funeral home from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to the family to purchase a maker for Alfred’s grave.
