William M. Halkovitch








Stratham – William M. Halkovitch, 54 of Stratham died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 following a courageous battle with MELAS.

He was born June 6, 1963 in Elizabeth, NJ. He was the son of William S. and Marlene J. Halkovitch of Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

Bill graduated from North Allegheny High School in PA, he received his Bachelor’s in Engineering from Northeastern University and his Bachelor’s in Management from Daniel Webster College. He work for Harsco Corporation for 25 years travelling worldwide as the director of Safety, retiring in 2012 due to his illness. He achieved his Eagle Scout, something Bill and his family were very proud of.

He resided in Stratham for the past 24 years with his wife Tracy Mandravelis Halkovitch and their son William A. Halkovitch. Bill was a member of the Stratham Community Church.

Other family members include his brother, Robert Halkovitch, two nieces, Madisyn and Kadyance Halkovitch, father-in-law Anthony Mandravelis, brother-in-law Michael Mandravelis and his niece Talia Mandravelis.

Services will be held at the Stratham Community Church, Emery Lane, Stratham, Wednesday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Family flowers only. If desired donation may be made in his memory to Krempel’s Center, 100 Campus Drive, Ste. 24, Portsmouth, NH 03801. Burial will be private.
