Brentwood – Elsa C. Forlong, 86, died February 19, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Brentwood.

She was born January 13, 1931 in Cuba the daughter of the late Ernesto and Cristina (Taupier) Simon.

Elsa moved to the U.S. in 1964 residing in the Washington, D.C. area for many years working in he banking business before moving to the Exeter area to be closer to her family.

She was an active communicant of St. Michael Church, Exeter.

Family members include her daughter, Michelle Ryzewic and her husband, Lee of Brentwood, her grandchildren, Alexis, Kirsten and Brandon all of Brentwood, she is also survived by two nephews, one niece and nine grandnieces and grandnephews.

Elsa was predeceased by her brother, Ernesto Simon.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter, Friday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Maryland. Donations may be made to Constellation Hospice 180 Low St. Newburyport, MA 01950.
