Theresa Rita Forbes
Theresa Rita Forbes (Bunnell) passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the age of 88.
She was born in Stewartstown, NH in 1929 to the late Harley and Beata Bunnell, living her formative years in Bear Rock, NH. She was educated in Stewartstown, NH and Cannan VT. As a teenager she went to Winoski Vt, to cook and clean for the Monsignor of the Catholic Church there. She worked many years in the Exeter area while raising her family.
Theresa was very family oriented and loved to spend as much time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandson as possible. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, flying in her husbands' small engine planes and riding on the back of his motorcycles.
Theresa is survived by her husband of 68 years, Donald Forbes, her daughter Donna Fogg and her husband Robert of Kittery, Me., and her son, Wilbur Forbes and his wife Beverly of Newmarket, NH.; 4 grandchildren, Denise Leifeld and her husband Sean of Nottingham, NH, Michelle Farrar and her husband Eric of Exeter, NH, Jon Forbes and Jason Forbes both of Newmarket, NH; and a great-grandson Loagan Farrar.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be celebrated at Stockbridge Funeral Home at 141 Epping Rd, Exeter, NH 03833 on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a celebration of her life immediately following.
