Lewis "Buddy" E. Fifield III
Exeter – Lewis “Buddy” E. Fifield, 59, of Exeter died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family after a short illness.
A lifelong resident of Exeter he was born here March 2, 1954 the son of the late Lewis E. and Catherine (O’Boyle) Fifield.
Buddy was a graduate of Exeter High School class of 1973. He worked for Dana’s Towing & Repair of Hampton, prior to this he worked for several area car dealers as a Parts Manager and service writer. He had also worked for Robbins Auto Parts for several years.
A very generous and caring man, he was a devoted husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Brother-in-law and friend. He loved his extended family, children and animals and would always be there to help anyone in need. He was an avid Nascar Fan, Celtics Fan, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, bonfires and tinkering with his tractor. He loved sharing memories and laughing with family and friends.
Family members include his wife of 29 years, Shirley L. (Millette) Fifield of Exeter, his son, Lewis E. Fifield, IV and his girlfriend, Renee “Ray” McCarthy of Strafford, his brother, James Fifield of Somersworth, his sister, Gail Perkins and her husband, John of Nottingham, his aunt, Theresa Brisson of South Yarmouth, MA, also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his dogs, Max and Dunkin.
He was predeceased by his sister, Diane Fifield.
A Celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Saturday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family, Friday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Family to help with his medical expenses. Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery, Exeter.
