Eileen Joan Doheny
Eileen (April) Doheny, 88, of Exeter died peacefully Thursday, April 15, 2010, in the company of loved ones.
She was born November 13, 1921, in Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Moyihan) April. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, John T. Doheny and her two sisters, Margaret Robinson and Patricia McIntyre.
She grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts and attended St. Mary’s School.
She is survived by her son Thomas H. Doheny and his wife Lynn of Pembroke, NH; daughter Diane Doheny of Exeter; son Jack Doheny and his wife, Shirley of Hampton; five grandchildren, Kathleen, Amy, Colleen, Alison and Tommy Doheny.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family was her life.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter, Tuesday at 12 noon. A celebration of life will follow the services at the Exeter Inn on Front Street, Exeter, NH. Flowers are acceptable or if desired donations may be made the Seacoast Visiting Nurses, 29 Lafayette Road, North Hampton, NH 03862.
