Stratham – David Sinclair Dodge, 77, of Stratham died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood.

He was born March 28, 1937 in Worcester, MA the son of the late John S. and Miriam (Wentworth) Dodge.

Mr. Dodge was raised in Brentwood and was a graduate of the Mount Hermon School. He lived in Brentwood and Exeter for many years before moving to Stratham.

He worked in automotive sales for many years at the former Brady Ford, in the finance and management department. He also sold insurance for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Prudential.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth (Leyon) Dodge, his children, John S. Dodge, II, Andrew D. Dodge and wife Larisa, and Jennifer Eldredge and husband Arthur and 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, John W. Dodge and sisters, Deborah D. Heine and Martha D. Clark as well as several nieces and nephews.

At his request there will be a private family burial with no visiting hours. A donation could be to the American Heart Association.
