John W. Desrosiers
Kensington – John W. Desrosiers, 68, died peacefully Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Exeter Hospital after a period of failing health. He was surrounded by his family.
He was born October 23, 1942 in Exeter, NH the son of the late Armand and Ruth (Quinn) Desrosiers.
He was a graduate of Exeter High School and worked in area Textile Mills first for the former Exeter Mill and later for Foss Manufacturing in Hampton.
His hobbies were making detailed airplanes and ships models, painting and drawing, playing guitar and whale watching. We remember him as a very kind, thoughtful and loving person.
Family members include his wife of 47 years, Sally Desrosiers, his daughter, Tami Dolan and her husband Howard, his father-in-law, Les Briggs, sister-in-laws, Sue Goodwin, Sherrie Bintein and her husband, Rudy, also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins. Not to forget his beloved dog, Zeke.
Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Tuesday at 3 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Tuesday from 2 PM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rockingham VNA/Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833 or the NH S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885. Burial will be private.
