Angela M. DeLuca
Durham – Angela M. DeLuca, 98, of Durham formerly of Exeter died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
She was born January 1, 1917 in Boston, MA the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna ( Buonanno ) Napoli.
Mrs. DeLuca lived most of her life in Revere, MA, Peabody, MA and moved to Exeter in 1978, she was a seamtress in Boston for many years. She was a communicant of St. Michael Parish.
She owned and operated Ann’s ceramic studio in Peabody, MA and enjoyed bowling, knitting and arts and crafts and making baby outfits for family and military families.
She will be fondly remembered for her contagious smile and quick wit.
She was the wife of the late Ralph DeLuca who died in 1997.
Family members include her daughters, Stephanie A. Melchionno and her husband, Victor, Anne-Marie Colotti and her husband, Harold and Patricia J. Celentano and her husband, John, six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, her brother, Joseph Napoli and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Pat and John and her sister, Mary.
A Celebration of her life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Monday, August 31, 2015 at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family, Monday at the funeral home from 11:30 AM until the service. Burial will follow in the Exeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or St. Vincent DePaul food pantry.
